Hi Will,

Waiting is not a problem, I just found it a useful feature that would be nice
to have especially since I'm on a different timezone :)

cheers,
  Christos.

The current release plan[0] shows that timezone support is planned
for 0.96; 0.94 is the latest stable release (and our Indico is
0.92.2). The CERN Indico server runs an unreleased CVS checkout of
their sources that should be more-or-less equivalent to 0.96.

I'm hesitant to deploy the unreleased code at Wisconsin (since
support won't be available and other sites haven't jumped yet). It
seems reasonable to me to wait to upgrade until CERN is happy enough
with their 0.96 work to actually release it.

Christos: If you agree, I'll resolve this ticket for now and plan to
upgrade as soon as 0.96 is released. Based on traffic on their
mailing list, the version in production at CERN and their published
release schedule, 0.96 shouldn't be too far away. Does this sound OK
to you?

We can definitely upgrade Indico, though it'd probably be good to
wait until after PHENO08 (this week) to do so. I'll start preparing
for the upgrade this week and tentatively plan on taking some
downtime next week to perform the actual upgrade.

Thanks!

Hi,

I was wondering if it would be possible to have indico upgraded
to a newer version. I saw in the latest CERN installation they
provide a time zone selection dropdown box which is really useful.

cheers,
  Christos.
